Imam Ali (as) has fought many battles in his lifetime, many of which he used the Zulfiqar Sword. After his passing, the sword was passed down to his son Imam Hassan (as) then to Imam Hussain. Imam Hussain fought the battle of Karbala with the Zulfiqar.
